Mike and I were with the Waxwings for a couple of hours, and then went to a marshy area a few miles away where Mike had heard rumours of sightings of another rare visitor-a Glossy Ibis. It turns out that he'd flapped off some days before, but the rest of this series is about what we saw there.

@✿ Anina ✿: That is his tail! They look like little balls of fluff waiting to grow up. Two "Country" names for them are "Dabchick" and "Fluff-bum", you can probably see why! |
