@Nigel: Somewhere between 80-120. I was getting the effect I wanted on every shot, but commonly the person in focus was too old(Didn't look right, somehow), or was looking bored. The first few were done without swinging the lens with the subject, that didn't work, so, I worked out that the point of greatest relative movement was where some kids were going left to right, and the ones in the front were going right to left(Because they are going in a circle, the 3 o'clock position was the best, jeez what a long explanation!!) From there it was just a case of finding the right expression. @David: Yep, you know the place well. JP as Wurzel and US as Aunt Sally hold a real place in my heart as well. Around that time was a program called "Catweazle" and even though I was 16 years old, and both series were aimed at 8 year olds, I loved 'em both @Melocoton: Thankyou @omid: Thanks! @Denise: Thankyou! @Elaine Hancock: thanks @Steven: Thankyou @PRASHANT: Thanks! @Lai Chan See: Thankyou @Ronnie 2¢: Cheers mate! @Mehdi Monadi: thanks! @Aubélia: Thankyou! @Othersideblue: thankyou! Well, I hope. Thank you for your very kind words, I really appreciate them. The last couple of years have been about me simply trying to master the basics of "Capture the facts/scientific reporting" photography. I'm hoping that within 6 months or so, I will have got that to a level where I can move on to more expressive shots like this, so who knows, maybe by next summer , a few more like this will start creeping in.
