Red Admiral

Posted by
CElliottUK (Reading, United Kingdom) on 16 September 2011 in Animal & Insect.

Finally, I've seen one. But by now I should have seen 100's. I hope the numbers climb back after what I assume was the effect of the last hard winter

Sandy Weston from Maine, United States've seen one and capture it so naturally in a great habitat!!! Look at this beast, it looks like it has a fur coat on! We took petri dishes outside today for science and were collecting bugs and insects with the kids. They collected all sorts of caterpillars, slugs, spiders, ants, beetles, moths, and even the occasional toad which was not what we wanted so they had to torture it for a while and then let it go..poor thing....but we never found anything so exotic as your Red Admiral! :)
