The entrance fee is £6.50, but for an extra £3, you can go on a guided tour of the Tower and roofspace.

But of course, first, you have to go upwards-via a very tight, spiral staircase.
There are 213 steps to the top, but, there are breathing stops on the way up, but, this isn't a trip for the claustrophobic, or for those who like to have their feet firmly planted, most of the time, your feet are half on, half off the steps.
