Good to see the 500mm lens in use - you'd be pretty wet otherwise

12 Sep 2012 6:34am

@Nigel: ...the story behind the shot... I went to West Wittering with Mrs E, because I hoped that they were doing the "Kite assisted surfboard sport"(Dunno the real name) So I took my long lens. They weren't doing their thing, so there I am with the lens. My wife then says, "Oh, so, you've brought your Pervert/stalker lens with you", and I suddenly realised how many kids there were, and how big their Dads looked....... So I ended up doing pictures of dogs, from half way up the beach.

The Mouse from Glasgow, United Kingdom

Is Betty not a fan of the water or is she to quick for you?

12 Sep 2012 4:25pm

@The Mouse: Betty is a child of the Welsh mountains. She gets rabbits, squirrels, foxes, but...as far as I know...she's never been to the seaside before. She lapped the seawater and didn't like it, she was confused by how big the "Puddle" was, she enjoyed it, but, a "Player in salt water" she was not.
